Template — review with counsel

This is a starting template describing current practice. Confirm it matches your actual data handling — and the requirements of any privacy law that applies to you — with counsel before relying on it.

This Privacy Statement explains how Bellbriar, Inc. ("Bellbriar," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the website at bellbriar.ai and our Services. We keep data collection deliberately minimal.

§ 01

Information we collect

  • Information you submit. When you use our contact / audit form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company or site, what you ship, any URLs you send for audit, and your message.
  • Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand site traffic. These do not use tracking cookies and are not used to identify you individually.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver and secure the site.

We do not knowingly collect special-category personal data, and we ask that you not send it through the form.

§ 02

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and, where requested, to run and return a free audit.
  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To send you information you request or that relates to a Service you use.
  • To secure the site and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

§ 03

Service providers

We share information only with vendors that help us operate, and only as needed:

  • Web3Forms — processes contact-form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics and security.
  • Email provider — receives and stores correspondence sent to our addresses. [PLACEHOLDER — name your email/CRM provider.]

Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

§ 04

Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this statement and, where required, ask for consent.

§ 05

Retention

We keep inquiry and audit information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a business relationship, and thereafter as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

§ 06

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; individuals in the EEA/UK have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise any right, email contact@bellbriar.ai and we will respond as required by applicable law.

§ 07

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

§ 08

International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm transfer mechanism if you market to the EEA/UK.]

§ 09

Children

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

§ 10

Changes & contact

We may update this statement; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Questions or requests may be submitted through our contact form.
